Assembly is an artistic process in which the three dimensional composition is made by combining non artistic objects. We must emphasize that these objects of which they are part share the characteristic of not having been designed for aesthetic purposes but have been rediscovered by artists, that incorporate them into their works jointly or individually, to express a message or emotion.

In English: assembly, in Catalan: assemblatge;  in French: assemblée, in German: assemblage, in Spanish: ensamblaje.
